The Central Muscatatuck Watershed consists of approximately 164,196 acres in portions of Jackson, Jefferson, Jennings, Ripley, and Scott counties.
 
 
The Central Muscatatuck Watershed Project fills a diverse set of roles encompassing outreach, education, water monitoring (with citizen volunteers) and implementation of conservation practices.
