Cost-share Program
South Laughery Creek Watershed encompasses 112.000 acres in Ripley, Dearborn, Ohio and Switzerland Counties.
South Laughery Creek is 22 miles in length and runs from below the Versailles State Park Lake into the Ohio River just south of Aurora.
After a 2-year study the SLCWP – with assistance from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management and the Dearborn, Ohio, Ripley and Switzerland County Soil & Water Conservation districts – is now able to offer cost-share programs to take some of the burden off watershed landowners who want to implement Best Management Practices on their land.
Funds for the cost-share program were obtained from and Indiana Department of Environmental Management EPA 319 grant.
Please, click on the Cost-share Brochure link to learn more about the included management practices and how to apply.
